A native of Queens, NY, ANJI creates art from her home studio in Montclair, NJ. She is a sculptor, painter, and builder with specialized experience in exhibitions and public art. Her approach is hands-on, intuitive, and playful, often exploring themes of ancestry, nature, and mysticism.
She is currently focused on ceramics, experimenting with form and texture.
Outside her art practice, she can be found roaming the woods with her dog Gru, dancing, or tending to compost.
